gigs youve seen / going to see
This is not all of them as my memory fails me, warts n all, not as hard-core as most of the lists:

Adam and the Ants
Sisters of Mercy (1984/85)
Cult
Ramones (x4)(Richie, Markey + Dee Dee x2, once with CJ)
Cramps
Killdozer
Sonic Youth ('88)
Spacemen 3 (x2)*
Gaye Bykers On Acid (x2)*
Crazyhead (remember them)
Love and Rockets
Luxuria (howard devoto)
On-u Sound System (Keith Lavine and Jah Wobble)
African Head-Charge
Jah Wobble
Mission (I always blagged in to get to the party)
Rollins Band (x3?)
Streatchheads (x2)*
Butthole Surfers (x3 all 87 - 89)
Head of David
Swans
Bongwater
Ball
Jad Fair
The Pastals
Ween
Johnny Thunders (x at least 5)
Kajagoogoo
Duran Duran
Howard Jones (I was young)
Jon Spencer Blues Explosion (x5?)
Boss Hog
Extreem Noise Terror (They stayed at my house!Wink_dark
Electro Hippies*
Inspiral Carpets (yuck)*
Mudhoney (x3)*
Here and Now (ha ha)*
Doctor and the Medics*
The Damned (x2 1986 and 2004)
Melt Banana
Beck
Lots of goth bands as I usually got in free by blagging, I'm from Leeds in the '80s, what do you expect.
Rapeman
Pussy Galore
Cud*
Thee Hypnotics (x3)
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (Tender Prey tour)
Alien Sex Fiend (x2)
The Fuzztones (x2)
The Prisoners (x2)
Adventures of Parsley
Dutronc Dutronc Dutronc
The Diabolics
Sexton Ming
Test Department

Misfits
Jesus Lizard (x2)
Dinosaur Jr

Cutty Ranks
Nerve Rack (we used to double up gigs with them if anyone remembers them)
Hawkwind (x2)
Motorhead
Shamen
Add N to X
Prodigy
Blur
Daft Punk
Chemical Brothers (at the time it was cool!Wink_dark
Mega City 4
Loop
Telescopes*
Sleater Kinny

*These are bands that my band supported of which they were mainly shit, I saw Spacemen 3 in about 1987 and they were quite good but then when we supported them they were so boring, Inspiral Carpets were wankers except that tosser out of Oasis who was the roadie was the only one who spoke to us, Mudhoney were very nice to us and invited us to Manchester with them.

There are a load more bands but they keep flashing into my head and then I forget again, why is it I can remember the shite ones more than the good ones.

The only band I am going to see is at the end of this month and it's The Buff Medways last ever gig in London before they are reformed into Billy Childish and the Musicians of the British Empire.

Celebrity Skin!

WOW is that a blast from the past. Those guys were awesome. They put on a great show.

Fartbone, do you have any of their records?

I recall they did a funny cover of ABBA's S.O.S.

"When you're gone,
How can I even try to go on?

When you're gone,
SUICIDE!
How can I carry on?"

I just put a request up to cover my ass. I misplaced the two discs (SOS EP and Good clean fun) during my move last year to my new pad. Both scracthy scratchy now which sucks.

Saw them about 5 times. The best time was at Hollywood High School. The bill was Celebrity Skin, The Dickies, Green Jello, No Doubt and Tiny Tim. That's where I met pat smear and don bolles for the first time.

They recently had a reunion show last year before Don did that New Germs thing. Somebody put some live footage on you tube. check it out.

That sounds like a great show.

The next big one I have planned is that Riot Fest thing

http://www.myspace.com/riotfest2005

Though I'm definitely going to see TV on the Radio next week, and Art Brut also.

So i was at this concerts yesterday (see above).

Geez! How can a band get so crappy. I really loved explosion. But the first 3 songs long i didnt knew if it was aftually the band i love from "flash flash flash".
Then they played my fa songs and then 10 more frappy songs.

Geez they sucked sooo badly (not as badly as this first band, which was really terrible).

So i was pretty pissed and thought - shit i still have to stay thru afi..

And what should i say. They were fucking great. Bigst surprise ever. Even the new crappy songs totally rocked.

Too many to remember....

Lots of early gigs tho..

Clash at Guildford civic hall supported by the coventry automotives....(later to be the specials)
Buzzcocks at Guildford Civic.... supported by Joy Division

Got thrown out of Dead Kennedys at the Lyceum for letting a fire extinguisher off over the Anti Nowhere League! Spent the rest of the evening outside drinking beer with Dave from D.O.A. !

Saw The Cure at a tiny town hall in Carshalton!

The Damned at the Greyhound in Croydon... the night the floor started to give way!

Every King Kurt gig...they were mental!

mostly its a blur tho!
