I love Joy Division but I wouldnt put them under punk. Post punk/gothic yeah... which is all fine and good by me, but not punk even though they were reactionary to the Sex Pistols.

Joy Division and Siouxsie and the Banshees were formed at Sex Pistols concerts. And Sid Vicious was SatB's first drummer. Sex Pistols fucking rock all others.
